HOTEL owners in South Africa will miss out on a predicted World Cup bookings boom.
Organisers FIFA had expected 450,000 overseas fans to flood to the event, which begins in June.
Their latest estimate is just 350,000 - and some hotels have had their bookings halved by FIFA's official travel agents.
Supporters have been put off by the high cost of airfares to South Africa.
