Comedian Drew Carey is facing legal action after allegedly failing to pay for a hotel which was booked for his stay in South Africa during the recent soccer World Cup.
The avid sports fan allegedly instructed his assistant to contact a travel firm in January to help organise a month-long trip to the country for this summer's tournament.
Carey, who owns Major League Soccer team the Seattle Sounders, allegedly asked the tour company to book him tickets for some of the games, and arrange a 35-night stay at a five star resort - costing a total of $376,930.
