Family-owned hotel developer Groupe Germain said it will spend $240-million to build 10 new Alt-brand hotels across Canada over the next five years.
The Quebec company confirmed plans for new hotels in Toronto, Calgary, Winnipeg and Montreal. It also wants to launch another in Halifax, its first foray into Atlantic Canada.
Sites for four of the 10 hotels have not yet been determined.
