P.F. Chang’s Reports Third Quarter 2010 Results

Highlights for the third quarter of 2010 compared to the prior year quarter include:
  • Consolidated revenues increased 6.2% to $308.4 million.
  • Comparable store sales increased 2.3% at the Bistro and 0.8% at Pei Wei.
  • Income from continuing operations increased 68.1% to $10.5 million.
  • Net income increased 68.6% to $10.5 million.
  • Income from continuing operations and net income per diluted share increased 66.7% to $0.45.

P.F. Chang's, Burger King, Jamba Juice sell frozen food

Some of the most familiar names in the restaurant world are moving into the grocer's freezer.
P.F. Chang's, Burger King and Jamba Juice all have recently licensed their names for new products to be sold in supermarkets. They join other high-profile restaurant chains including Marie Callender's, Starbucks, T.G.I. Friday's and California Pizza Kitchen, which already have substantial presence at the grocery store.

P.F. Chang's Reports Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2009 Results

Highlights for the fourth quarter of 2009 compared to prior year include:


•Consolidated revenues increased 10.8% to $326.7 million
•Comparable store sales declined 5.2% at the Bistro and increased 3.0% at Pei Wei
•Restaurant operating income margin increased 100 basis points to 12.7%
•Income from continuing operations increased 60.0% to $12.0 million
•Net income increased 121.0%(1) to $12.0 million
•Income from continuing operations per diluted share increased 67.7% to $0.52
•Net income per diluted share increased 126.1%(1) to $0.52

P.F. Chang's signs Philippines deal

P.F. Chang’s China Bistro Inc. announced a deal with Global Restaurant Concepts Inc. to develop eight restaurants in the Philippines over the next five years.

Founded in 1997, Global Restaurant Concepts Inc. has focused on casual dining service and premium pizza in the Philippines. Its first location for the Scottsdale-based Asian restaurant chain is scheduled to open in Manila in first-quarter.

P.F. Chang's Reports Third Quarter Earnings

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 2009-- P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Inc. (NASDAQ: PFCB) today reported consolidated income from continuing operations(1) of $6.2 million for the third quarter ended September 27, 2009 compared to $7.7 million for the third quarter of the prior year. Net income (2) for the third quarter of fiscal 2009 totaled $6.2 million compared to $3.0 million for the third quarter of the prior year.

P.F. Chang's lifts full-year earnings forecast

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- P.F. Chang's China Bistro Inc. boosted its full-year outlook for earnings from continuing operations Wednesday, citing improved restaurant operating margins.
The restaurant operator now expects income from continuing operations in a range of $1.60 to $1.65 per share. Its previous guidance was for profit in a range of $1.45 to $1.50 per share.
Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters, whose estimates typically exclude one-time items, forecast net income of $1.63 per share.
P.F. Chang's also reported a 23 percent rise in its second-quarter profit. The company's stock added 73 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $34.91 in electronic premarket trading.

P.F. Chang's Reports Second Quarter Earnings and Raises Fiscal 2009 Earnings Guidance

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Jul 22, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. (NASDAQ:PFCB) today reported consolidated income from continuing operations(1) of $12.1 million for the second quarter ended June 28, 2009 compared to $9.9 million for the second quarter of the prior year. Net income (2) for the second quarter of fiscal 2009 totaled $11.6 million compared to $9.4 million for the second quarter of the prior year.
Income from continuing operations(1) per diluted share for the second quarter of fiscal 2009 was $0.51 compared to $0.41 for the second quarter of the prior year. Net income (2) per diluted share was $0.49 compared to $0.39 in the prior year.
