Radisson Hotel in Nashua, NH suddenly shuts down

NASHUA, N.H.—The manager of the Radisson Hotel in Nashua, N.H., says the business is shutting down indefinitely for plumbing repairs due to frozen pipes and financial pressures, leaving customers and event organizers scrambling.

Kids in India trained to steal at posh weddings

Six children were trained for over a year -- their looks groomed and language skills brushed up -- so that they would go unnoticed at weddings in five-star hotels from where they stole money and ornaments. While two of these children, nine year-old Palak and 11 year-old Neha (names changed), were arrested on December 25, the cops arrested 60 year-old Jashoda Harijan and 21 year-old Mandakini Sisodiya along with three other men on December 31. Their interrogation led the cops to Kadia village in Rajgarh district in Madhya Pradesh, where the remaining accused live.

Stewardess found dead at Amsterdam Radisson

KUALA LUMPUR: Mystery surrounds the death of a Malaysia Airlines stewardess who was found dead at a hotel car park in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on Friday morning. Chin Swee Len, 35, was discovered at 9am by guests of the Radisson Hotel who alerted the police. A source from the airline said Chin was believed to have been assaulted and then thrown out of her hotel room window.

"Her fourth floor room was broken into and ransacked," said the source.

Radisson Hotel Boston has a new owner

The Radisson Hotel Boston, a 358-room hotel on Stuart Street, has been sold to Northwood Investors LLC, said a broker involved in the transaction.


The broker is CBRE Hotels, which said it represented the seller, JPA Trust, a third-generation family owned and operated real estate firm.

To Radisson® Hotels & Resorts guests:

Radisson values your business and respects the privacy of your information, which is why we wish to inform you that between November 2008 and May 2009, the computer systems of some Radisson® hotels in the U.S. and Canada were accessed without authorization. This unauthorized access was in violation of both civil and criminal laws. Radisson has been coordinating with federal law enforcement to assist in the investigation of this incident. While the number of potentially affected hotels involved in this incident is limited, the data accessed may have included guest information such as the name printed on a guest’s credit card or debit card, a credit or debit card number, and/or a card expiration date.

Authorities investigate hacking of Radisson’s US computer systems

Federal authorities are investigating the hacking of computer systems which include guests’ names and credit card information, across various Radisson Hotels & Resorts in the United States and Canada.
The hotel group, whose major shareholder is US company Carlson, confirmed yesterday that its computer systems were accessed between November 2008 and May of this year.
