The Comfort Suites in Lake George, New York, filed for bankruptcy protection on Thursday.
The 98-room hotel, on State Route 9, will remain open and operating while it reorganizes finances during bankruptcy.
The hotel reported $13.4 million in assets and $11.2 million of debt.
